Family & Group Camp Activities

The Seneca Lake Camp is available for use by families and Church groups, such as for father-son outings, Relief Society overnights, youth groups, Young Single Adult conferences, Boy Scout camps, family reunions, etc. when not in use by other organizations. Groups may reserve one camp area or combinations of camp facilities. Overnight stays are not required to use these facilities. For example, a stake or group may choose to utilize the large recreational hall for a dance or other activity without spending the night. A description of all camp facilities will be found on the facilities webpage.
As with other Church properties, various portions of the camp may be reserved by different groups at the same time if their concurrent use is deemed appropriate.
The Seneca Lake Camp is available for use throughout the entire year. Winter camping experiences are available both indoor, where heat and running water are available, and outdoors. The summer months of mid June, through mid August are usually reserved by stake Young Women for thier camps.
Use of the camp by participating stakes (units or stake organizations) must be coordinated through their designated Stake High Councilor, as there may be a facilities charge based on the participating stakes annual camp usage. Non-participating stakes and other groups will be charged based on the attached fee schedule.
The camp may be reserved using the General Use Application Form unless scheduling a youth conference, including stake Young Women camp, in which case it may be reserved using the Youth Conference Application Form. Instructions are included on both forms. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
